If you get the "SAve Failed" message when you try to save a new document but other users on your system have no problem and you are all using the same Manifest.dot, a possible cause is that in Word - Tools - Options - File Locations, the location for documents has been set to a location that is a read only location and does not have write permissions (e.g. on a network drive). Change it back to C:\My Documents or some other preferred location on your C drive. |
