About Us

Who we are

At Hardlight we focus on delivering solutions to clearly defined business problems. In particular, to solve the increasing problem of how an organisation manages its information assets, and controls the online publishing of that information via the Internet, Intranet or Extranet.

As software developers we come from a strong service to business background which grounds our products firmly in solving the real world problems of our clients. Hardlight and its staff have a comprehensive background in working with large organisations, such as state and federal government departments and large corporates as well as smaller scale private firms. Our experience gives us the flexibility to deal with clients from differing backgrounds and with vastly different needs.

Our experience

We have extensive experience with a number of large clients. In addition to our extensive Internet development experience, which led to the development of Manifest. Historically, Hardlight has played a pivotal role in some of Australia's largest and most exciting multimedia software projects.  The company has invested creative capital, technical expertise and countless hours to a wide range of products.

These include the ground-breaking Key Competencies Professional Development Training Package, a two million dollar, 5 CD-ROM training package funded by The federal Department for Education Training and Youth Affairs, (DEETYA). This product won the award for the best multimedia training product of 1997 at the National ATOM awards in Melbourne. In addition we have worked on a number of information kiosks, CDROM and Web based products for the South Australian Department of Education Training and Employment, (DETE), the South Australian Museum, the CSIRO and a range of corporate clients such as McDonalds and Gerard Industries.
